We like to party… on a Thursday night, along with friends celebrating KEWE Clothing‘s one year in business. I decided to test the waters, and push the girls bed time a little bit so that I could go and celebrate with Ange.
I have followed along over this past year, and loved all the pieces she has created. I’ve had a wish list of items for my girls since she recently released some new prints that she created with Codi of Creative Wife. These two are a an incredible team. when it comes to fun prints, and beautifully made clothing.
Thursday was a lot of fun. The celebration was hosted at Montrose & George. A store I have never been to, but want to go back to! If you are out that direction, they do carry KEWE in store! It’s a great little boutique.
Maybe I lost my marbles when I decided to bring the girls with me, but I had to since Jason was working. It’s times like these where I am very thankful for the friends I have in my life. After arriving a little later than I had hoped to – thanks traffic – I snuck in the side door with the girls, because there was already a line up of people waiting to get in to join the festivities. I got the girls settled in a change room. Addie was happy playing on the floor, and Evie was on the bench eating some popcorn (more on that in a second). The girls were happy while I quickly hustled around to get photos.
Soon a friend of mine arrived and scooped Addie up for cuddles, and Evie found the kids table with colouring. I was done taking photos, and able to enjoy the party.
Of course some shopping was done! There was even some new designs to pick from. Including a geo cloud tshirt that I fell in love with. I got both of the girls one. Actually each got a new outfit. One of my first questions to Ange about the leggings was “Do they fit over cloth diaper booties?”… they sure do! Ange actually used cloth diapers for her daughter, and totally gets the struggle to cover those extra padded bottoms.
There was a great little photo wall set up for everyone to take photos in front of. Evie, and Addie each took a turn for the photo opp. If you want to see some more fun photos from the bash, go on Instagram and search #KEWEBIRTHDAYBASH.
I mentioned popcorn. Evie is a popcorn monster, and can smell it a mile away. She tried each flavour The Popcorn Bar had available there, and sprinkled each cup full with some mini m&ms. I love the white chocolate, with sprinkles. There were also marshmallows from Marsh&Mallow. If you like marshmallows at all, you have not had a true one until you try one from here. With flavours like salted caramel, you will want to take them all home. I totally regret not bringing one home to enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate. If coffee is a must for you, there was a great treat of different options brewing thanks to Jack Coffee.
KEWE put on a wonderful birthday bash. We had a great time. The girls had fun. I enjoyed a bit of a night out seeing several of my friends from all over the area. All there to celebrate Ange’s first year. Cannot thank you enough for such a fun night! Both of the girls crashed for the night when we got home.
I cannot wait for my girls to wear their new outfits. I adore the geo clouds!
