You never know what you will discover on Netflix, I am often stumbling across different shows that I would have never found flipping through the channels on my tv. My most recent find is called Lily’s Driftwood Bay.
Right away it reminded me of shows I would have watched when I was a toddler/preschooler and a little older. You also cannot help but love the Irish accent on the main character, Lily. The show is produced is Northern Ireland. She reminds me of my own daughter with her wild red hair, and incredible imagination.
Lily and her Dad live on an almost deserted beach in a beach hut. Many of Lily’s creations, and imaginative friends are created with things you would find when at the beach. Lily often finds herself on an an adventure to Driftwood Bay, and her Dad is always around when she returns back from her adventures. All of this got me thinking about what my own daughter might get up to this summer on our beach outings and I cannot wait to see what her imagination creates out of sea shells and rocks, and what adventures she goes on.
