One of the local shops I have fallen in love with is The Little Moore Shop. A friend of mine bought a pair of leggings and a headband as a baby gift for my youngest daughter when she was born. I’ve been hooked ever since. If you are looking for comfy clothing made with 100% cotton fabrics that have unique prints you’ll want to check out this company.
Jamie Moore, the owner and maker of this business was neighbours with us, but she and her family moved to their dream home. I still love The Little Moore Shop, I was just sad to see them move from being down the road. She is someone who quickly became a friend of mine over the past year.
Everything is handmade at Jamie’s home. I don’t know how she does it with being a wife, a mom to 3 kids, and running her business. She’s an inspiration to me as she puts family first always. Sewing is done when the kids are having naps or are in bed for the night. Would you believe Jamie taught herself how to use her sewing machine via Youtube videos?
What stood out to me with The Little Moore Shop is how much heart Jamie puts into making sure her customers are happy and receive items they love. An example of this would be when I contacted her about getting pants for both of my girls. I had two problems 1) my oldest has incredibly long legs and is petite in the waist and 2) my youngest was wearing cloth diapers and needed bottoms to fit the extra padded bum. Jamie made custom pants for both of the girls in a print I picked out and loved.
My girls have worn the leggings, rompers, and raglan sweatshirts. All of which have looked incredibly cute on and the fabric is so soft. Evie comments every time she wears her floral raglan sweatshirt about how cosy it is. The chest fabric is made out of 100% cotton and the body of the raglan sweatshirt is made from 100% bamboo fleece.
If you are looking for soft and comfy for your kiddos look no further than The Little Moore Shop.
