– about –
This blog was created originally as a way of sharing about our life as we knew it when we became a family of three. Since then things have changed, this blog has grown, and so has our family. We are now a family of four, and we have expanded our blog to be more than our day to day life. Here you will find a blog about parenting, motherhood & fatherhood, children, travel, and many other things we love.
– Tamara & Jason –
The husband and wife team behind Discovering Parenthood met almost 9 years ago after we were both encouraged by our groups of friends to try an online dating site. It seems our lives had been crossing paths for years, and it was finally time for them to collide. We have been inseparable since our first date, and we got married three 3 years later. Blogging became an outlet for Tamara’s emotions in dealing with miscarriages, as well as sharing about the triumphs and failures of being a new mom. Jason was always there supporting her by helping making sure the blog was running smoothly, or by taking photos. Now we are working together as we continue this journey of being bloggers in Vancouver.
We have two sweet little girls; Evie our oldest, and feisty red head, was born in December 2012, Addie our youngest, and laid back kiddo, was born in October 2015. Through this blog we are documenting being a family of four, and the adventures we go on together. Maybe that’s sleeping through the night for the first time, learning how to ride a bike, or a family road trip.
